The Energy And Environment Foundation (EEF) Global Water Awards are conferred on the highest achievers in International Water Industry/Research/Management. The awards have focus on initiatives in scientific management of drinking water, industrial water, waste water, and desalination. across the globe in competing areas like Innovation, Technology, Conservation and Sustainable Finance.

Eligibility

Nominate a company, project, plant technology, initiative leadership to be recognized by the EEF Global Water Awards.

Leaders, Professionals, Project planners, Industry, Research Institutes, and Academia are welcome to apply for the nominations for the EEF Global Water Awards. These awards are open for all sectors: Corporates, Public (PSUs), Private, Large, Medium, Small Scale Industrial / Service Sector Companies / Organizations / Startups / Units / Projects and their team. Academic Institutions are eligible for participation in the award.
Proposals for entry will be treated confidential.

Process of Nomination

  • A 200 word write-up/executive summary must be submitted with each nomination, justifying the Nomination for the Award. This must include specific and strong information that will allow us to evaluate your nomination against others. What is unique or special about this nomination and why do you believe it should be considered for the EEF Global Water Award.

The awards will be announced on July 15, 2023.

Criteria for Nominations

Entering a nomination for the EEF Global Water Awards 2023: criteria and guidelines
  1. The company, project, or initiative must be able to demonstrate a significant contribution to water industry. Specific factors to be specifically highlighted are: improved efficacy, energy efficiency, technological innovation and implementation of sustainable financial models.

  2. The outcome of the project or initiative must be clearly made out in the proposal.

  3. The Awardee (CEO/Senior Executive in case of a Company) must be available to attend the Award function and to receive EEF Global Water Awards during the Gala Dinner on August 25, 2023 in New Delhi, India.

Nomination Shortlisting & Selection Process

TThe EEF Global Water Awards shortlisting process is the procedure by which the pool of nominations submitted in the open nomination phase are examined by the eminent jury a panel of independent experts, who shortlist the entries and compile them into award categories. Shortlisting begins after nominations have closed. The shortlisted awards are announced on August 25, 2023.

All the entries received for EEF Global Water Awards 2023 will be scrutinized by an eminent jury consisting of independent experts. Decisions of the eminent jury are final and will be binding on all applicants.

The winners of the Awards will be announced and honoured at the Global Water Awards ceremony and Gala Dinner on the evening of August 25, 2023 in New Delhi, India. We wish everyone the best of luck!


The EEF Water Leadership Award

The EEF Water Leaders’ Award goes to the private / publicly owned utility that is able to demonstrate an outstanding step-change in performance improvement.

  1. The utility must by publicly / privately owned;
  2. The utility must be able to demonstrate a step-change in performance improvement in the past.

In the event that the utility is shortlisted after the nominations process, the utility’s CEO/Director should be available to attend. The EEF Global Water Awards Gala Dinner on August 25, 2023 at New Delhi, India, where the winner will be honoured with The EEF Global Award 2023.

The EEF Water Technology Idol Awards

The technology must be early stage and be able to demonstrate realistic expectations for commercialization.
In the event that the project is shortlisted after the nominations process, a senior representative from the company must be available to attend the World Water Summit 2023 and make a 15 minute presentation at the designated session on August 25, 2023. www.worldwatersummit.in

Nomination Fee (Non-Refundable)

INR 65000 | US$ 1000 plus GST 18%
(Nomination Fee includes, 2 complementary pass for the EEF Global Award Ceremony 2023 and Gala Dinner on August 25, 2023).
Application for the Global Water Awards, complete with all information and documents alongwith applicable fee, should by reach Secretariat in soft (pdf file) and hard form on or before June 30, 2023.
